Obituary for Benjamin LaVern Butler Sr.

Benjamin L Butler Sr, age 81, of Boyceville died Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Comforts of Home in River Falls, WI.
Benjamin was born March 18, 1937 to Arvin and Florence (Stabenow) Butler in Knapp, Wisconsin.  He grew up on a farm near Boardman and attended Boardman School. On May 12, 1962 Benjamin was married to Sarah Kirkpatrick. 
Benjamin had several jobs throughout the years until 1982 he found is passion of being an over the road truck driver and did so for 40 years. Benjamin loved spending time with family and friends. He would spend most of the summers up to their camper in Cumberland. He enjoyed spending time with his fur babies. He raised five children and loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Ralph Butler; sister-in-law Jackie Butler; Son’s Dennis Butler and Benjamin Butler Jr.
Survivors include his wife Sarah of Boyceville, Children: Connie (Greg) Kannel of Spring Valley, LeRoy Butler of Glenwood City and Caroline Butler of Boyceville; Grandchildren: Katrina (Chris) Bastyr, Vanessa Smeltzer, Cody Peabody and Brianna Canfield. Great grandchildren: Chloe and Kaden Bastyr.
Funeral service 1:30 p.m. Tuesday October 30, 2018 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City, WI with Reverend Bradley Peterson officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until time of services Tuesday. Burial will be in the Tiffany Cemetery Boyceville, WI.
